Delete your account & data
You can request deletion of your KuttyTail account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what is removed and retained.
How to request deletion
- Email us at ivamind.apps@gmail.com from the email address associated with your KuttyTail account, with the subject line “Delete my account”.
- We verify that the request comes from your account's email address (this protects you from someone else deleting your account).
- We delete your account and associated data and email you a confirmation. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Prefer to do it in the app? In-app account deletion (Profile → Delete account) is coming soon. Until then, the email request above is the way to delete your account, and it removes the same data.
What is deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile (name, email and profile photo)
- All of your pet profiles
- All activity logs (food, water, walks, medication, notes)
- All vaccination records
- All pet photos and vaccination-card images you uploaded
- All voice recordings and their transcripts
- All AI analysis results and health insights generated for you
- Your push-notification tokens and device records
What is retained, and for how long
- Uploaded media (photos, voice recordings) stored on our content-delivery network is removed within 30 days.
- Encrypted backups may contain residual copies of your data, which are automatically purged within 90 days, after which no copies remain.
- We may retain a minimal record only where required to comply with legal obligations or to prevent fraud and abuse. This is kept no longer than necessary and is not used for any other purpose.
Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your pets' history, logs and insights cannot be recovered. If you only want to remove specific entries, you can delete individual logs, pets or photos inside the app without deleting your whole account.
